• Distiller

    Distillers for essential oils are tanks with periodic action that works at atmospheric pressure. In this type of equipment is conducted the so-called simple distillation – a mass transfer process in which the extraction of certain components is realized by a single evaporation of various raw materials (liquid or solid). Their operation consists in maintaining of a constant flow of distillation. The distiller is a cylindrical vessel with a movable lid and a fixed bottom. The lid of the distiller has a conical shape and a cylindrical part. The bottom of the distiller is also conical, permanently attached to the cylindrical body of the distiller. The volume and capacity of the other technological equipment in the distillery depend on the volume and number of distillers.

    Basic equipment:

    • Manhole at tank top
    • Water/waste distillate
    • Grid supports for raw materials grid
    • Raw materials grid, complete with chains and shackles
    • Direct steam inlet with bubbler
    • Indirect steam inlet with coil
    • Condensing unit
    • Total outlet with gate valve
    • Insulation with rock wool and riveted stainless steel cladding
    • Depending on the mounting type, it can be on tubular legs or on mounting supports (for mounting on reinforced concrete structures).

    Basic volumes:

    1. Distillation unit DU-5.5
    Vgeom=6.3m3
    Vsteam distillation=5.5m3
    Vwater-steam distillation=3.1m3
    D=1900mm Dins=2080mm

    2. Distillation unit DU-3
    Vgeom=3.4m3
    Vsteam distillation=3m3
    Vwater-steam distillation=1.7m3

  • Shell and tube heat exchanger

    The shell-and-tube heat exchanger is a “surface” type heat exchanger where the space is divided into tubular and inter-tubular, and the heat exchange is realized by the tube “wall” and obeys the basic laws of heat transfer.
    The operation of heat exchangers is maintaining the required flow temperature, of the technological product. This is done by the flow rates of the fluids.
    The heat exchange surface of each heat exchanger is dependable on the volume of the Distiller, the flow rate and the temperature of the fluids.

    Basic equipment:

    • Upper chamber
    • Tube bundle
    • Shell
    • Lower chamber
    • Depending on the mounting type, it can be on tubular legs or on mounting supports (for mounting on reinforced concrete structures)

    Main heat exchange surfaces calculated at temperature of the cooling fluid 14ºС, flow rate Q = 6m³ / h and outlet temperature of the technological product at 30ºС:

    • The total height is variable, depending on mounting type and place.

  • Florentine tank

    The Florentine tank is a cylindrical tank with a conical top, where the separation of the essential oils is realized. There is a barrier installed in the tank, which prolongs the journey and the residence time of the distillate. This ensures the time required to separate the essential oil from the distillation water.
    The volume of the Florentine vessel is dependable on the volume of the Distiller.

    Basic equipment:

    • Distillate inlet
    • Sight glass
    • Essential oil outlet
    • Distillation water outlet
    • Barrier
    • Total outlet

    Main volumes:

    1.FLORENTINE TANK FT-850 – USED WITH THE COHOBATION UNIT
    Vgeom=0.85m3
    D=955mm Hmax=2100mm

    2.FLORENTINE TANK FT-350
